This reminds me of an analogy I like to use of going to the gym and perhaps the wow factor for me comes from the collective experience. The mixing has come a long way this year. I was actually comparing this track to my tracks from earlier this year and that's actually enough wow factor for me. A focus for this project was to go heavy on melodic content and I must say I don't think have anything this expressively melodic as most of my other projects have pretty static melodic fragments. My sessions are also multidimensional and I think each one has different focus points. I don't defend not having a wow factor but I'm pretty content with what I can do in one session. I'm really a simple guy and I wear the same clothes every day in pursuit of functionality. If this track was a cheese, what kind of cheese would it be, and how does this cheese meet your personal taste? Maybe just one step in the direction of something I have not seen from you yet, could give this jam the wow factor, that would make it much more memorable.
